We are seeking an experienced NDT Level III Inspector to provide technical leadership for non-destructive testing activities within a precision manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing aerospace manufacturer investing in advanced machining technology and complex manufacturing programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee NDT activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications.
- Develop, approve, and maintain NDT procedures, work instructions, and inspection techniques.
- Perform and review FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch inspections, investigating non-conformances and approving product acceptance.
- Support audits, mentor NDT personnel, and drive continuous improvement across inspection processes.
- Current NDT Level III certification with a minimum of 7 years' aerospace or precision manufacturing NDT experience.
- Proven expertise in FPI, MPI, and Nital Etch inspection; X-ray and ultrasonic experience is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and develop NDT procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and IT skills with excellent attention to detail.
