Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, delivering exceptional customer care and supporting pharmacy and retail operations in a fast‑paced retail setting.
Essential Functions- Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively resolving potential service issues.
- Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and assistance in locating items.
- Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
- Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory management tasks as directed.
- Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
- Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
- Assist pharmacy personnel on regular shifts, providing opportunities for growth and career development.
- Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Physical requirements:
remaining upright for sustained periods; lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and minimal force regularly; ability to move objects and perform overhead lifting. - Visual acuity: close visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Compensation and BenefitsAnticipated weekly hours: 20 hours. Time type:
Part time.
Pay range: $16.94 - $23.94 per hour. The actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
