Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

The Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician will support and oversee repairs of Walmart's facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

• Maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills, hand tools, digital and power tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to use equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10+ years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience.
• Type I/II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience.

• 8+ years of HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience and AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2‑year associate’s in applied science A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.

Hourly wage range: $29.00 – $56.00, plus eligibility for bonus incentive premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
