Senior Data & Financial Analyst

Location: Manchester, IA
Schedule: Full-Time | Direct Hire

We're seeking a highly analytical Senior Data & Financial Analyst to partner with executive leadership and drive data‑informed business decisions. This role combines financial analysis, business intelligence, forecasting, reporting, and AI applications to improve operational performance and support strategic growth. The ideal candidate is an expert in Excel, enjoys working with complex datasets, and is passionate about using technology and AI to solve business challenges.

Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze profitability across products, customers, and operations.
  • Prepare executive dashboards and performance reports.
  • Support strategic planning and capital investment decisions.
  • Identify financial trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems.
  • Design dashboards and KPI reporting tools.
  • Develop business intelligence solutions for leadership.
  • Create predictive models and scenario analyses.
  • Present data‑driven recommendations to executives.
Technology & Process Improvement
  • Build advanced Excel models using Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, dashboards, and VBA when appropriate.
  • Automate reporting processes and improve data integrity.
  • Recommend and implement technology improvements.
AI & Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI across finance, operations, sales, and manufacturing.
  • Develop AI‑assisted workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical business applications.
  • Promote responsible AI adoption throughout the organization.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics.
  • Expert‑level Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and large datasets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently.
