Engineering Internship - Summer

Position: Engineering Internship - Summer 2026
Henderson Products, Inc. a division of Douglas Dynamics, is seeking a summer intern for 2026 who will be responsible for working on a predetermined set of continuous improvement projects to support Operations, Engineering, and other areas. These projects will be further determined in early 2026, but will target efforts to remove roadblocks, make process improvements, and simplify and standardize the work that is performed.

Working Conditions:

Normal office environments, as well as exposure to temperature fluctuation, noise and weld & grinding smoke when working in production area.

Knowledge &

Skills:

* Mechanical aptitude and problem analysis and resolution ability

* Technological skills required with aptitude to learn operations manufacturing software (AutoCAD and Inventor), as well as Microsoft products, including Excel and Word in Windows environment

* Organizational, detail, and follow-up skills

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player

Education and

Work Experience:

* Student in-training, working towards a degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field

* Previous work experience reflecting responsibility, aptitude for learning, and ability to work in flexible schedule.
