Machine Operator - Day Shift

Day Shift – 5 am to 3:00 pm with a 20‑minute paid lunch. Flexible start times are available if needed.

As a Fabricator, you will set up and operate fabrication machines (Brake Press, Lasers, Drills, Saws) in accordance with established standard operating procedures and guidelines. You will read blueprints and fabricate parts to specifications, perform designated maintenance functions, assume ownership for quality, participate in training, perform daily 5S activities, work effectively as a team, and maintain all safety standards.

• Knowledge of basic shop math, ability to read a tap measure and use a protractor.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Calculate tonnage for punching and shearing.
• Identify various types and gauges of steel.
• Operate overhead hoist.

• 1,000 hours of trade school.
• Fabrication experience.

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing required.
• Exposure to noise, weld and grinding smoke at times.
