Schedule:

Part Time, 24 hours per week, 8 hour shifts with flexible schedules from  start times and late day coverage. Days of the week will vary depending on the surgery schedule and staff needs. 1 day of call per week and call every 6th weekend. 1 holiday per year.

This position is responsible for clinical functions of the ASC and PACU areas and provides care for the surgical patients in accordance with hospital and departmental standards and policies.

• Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in state of Iowa
• Two (2) or more years of experience in surgical and/or intensive care nursing preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PACU nurses will be certified in pediatric advanced life support (PALS)
• Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Training required
