Our client is a well-established, privately held manufacturing organization with a long history of innovation, financial stability, and reinvestment in its people. This is a direct-hire opportunity to step into a visible, impactful accounting role with room to grow.
You’ll own core general ledger responsibilities while partnering closely with leadership to provide meaningful financial insight.
What You’ll Be Doing- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
- Perform variance analysis and explain results to leadership
- Support month-end close and monthly financial reporting
- Track and analyze financial performance by product line, business unit, and customer
- Assist with audit schedules, tax reporting, and international filings (as applicable)
- Analyze foreign currency transactions and financial impact
- Identify financial risks and opportunities through data-driven analysis
- Improve accounting processes for efficiency and controls
- Lead and develop a Staff Accountant
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives
Translation: this isn’t a “keep the lights on” accounting role—you’ll have influence.
What We’re Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- CPA or advanced accounting certification preferred
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning your work
- Clear communicator who works well across teams
- Someone who can juggle priorities without dropping the ball
