• Monthly customer pay applications, including retainage tracking
• Detailed job cost accounting across multiple active projects
• WIP reporting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
• Budget setup, forecasting, and cost variance analysis
• Financial risk identification tied to contracts and change orders
• Subcontractor invoice review and compliance oversight
• Month-end close processes and project-level reconciliations
• Financial reporting and insights for project managers and senior leadership

You will partner directly with operations to drive profitability, mitigate risk, and improve financial processes.

Required:

• 5+ years of accounting experience with direct construction accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP schedules, and construction billing cycles
• Experience managing financials for multiple concurrent projects
• ERP proficiency and advanced Excel skills

Preferred:

• 7+ years in construction accounting
• Experience working closely with project managers and field teams
• Familiarity with contract structures, change orders, and subcontractor compliance
