- Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of projects aligned with company strategic goals
- Prioritize projects based on business impact, resource availability, and market demands
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, providing improvement insights and recommendations
- Gather metrics and systems for consistent data collection and global dashboard/reporting standardization
- Secure use and understanding of the Portfolio Management Process and arrange regional training
- Lead implementation and maintenance of the stage-gate process with clear governance and required tools
- Support planning, execution, and delivery of portfolio projects on time, within scope, with risk management, and within budget
- Coordinate cross-functional product development, supply chain, sales, and finance teams
- Identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues promptly
- Implement project and portfolio management best practices and continuous process improvement
- Engage senior management, clients, and partners to ensure project, program, and portfolio alignment
- Communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders
- Ensure North American project teams follow defined ways of working
- Organize and lead cross-functional teams from initial concept through completion using Amcor's stage-gate process
- Focus on speed to market, development efficiency, cost, business continuity, quality, and on-time delivery
- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree or Project Management or certification is a plus
- Knowledge in project management software and tools desired
- Proven experience in portfolio and project management, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry, is desired
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
- Good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural and matrix organization
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and SAP preferred
- Familiarity with Wrike and Power BI is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrates expertise in portfolio and project management, utilizing methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals. Proficient in risk management, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvement within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
