Construction Manager - Civils

As a Construction Manager, you'll take the lead on delivering complex, high‑impact projects that support the UK’s shift to a sustainable energy future.

This is a Nationwide role requiring regular travel to offices and sites.

• Lead construction projects end‑to‑end—planning, delivery, and close‑out.

• Oversee all site activity, ensuring work is safe, efficient, and high‑quality.

• Build and manage project schedules, tracking milestones and resolving issues quickly.

• Control project budgets and provide clear financial updates to stakeholders.

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts to keep delivery fully compliant.

• Carry out regular site inspections and maintain essential project documentation.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate site teams to deliver their best work.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager (utilities or infrastructure ideal).

• Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

• Solid knowledge of health & safety requirements and building codes.

• Professional certifications (CIOB, PRINCE2 etc.) are a plus.
