Telecommunication Engineer

We have multiple Telecommunication Engineer positions open in our Dallas office!

Summary: Softel Techsource LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Telecommunication Engineer to perform data management over various modes of communication, design and install equipment, evaluate system performance, monitor network traffic and resolve network issues. This resource needs to be highly technical, capable of understanding business drivers, and meeting aggressive timelines to perform the following duties:

Day-to-day Job duties:

• Perform MO, MT Call and VoLTE Call flow of CS & PS Session query through DNA.
• VoLTE Trace analysis from OSS and probes to find out the reason for failure.
• Provisioning of user HLR data, e-SIM, USIM, VoLTE status and HS capability using dCRM.
• High-valued customer premises visit, indoor solution feasibility and Business Case Analysis.
• Root cause analysis through L3 message of Drive test log using TEMS 23.0.
• Link Budget Preparation, RFID Creation and BoQ based on criteria from customer premises.
• Propagation/Prediction Model through Planning Tool like iBwave, Planet 7.5 & Assets.
• Lead to automate the CCH and CCP based model to reduce MTTR and to avoid SLA breach.
• Region-based KPI monitoring, troubleshooting to mitigate Voice & Data NW.
• Collaborate with Regional Operation, Planning, Customer experience, RAN, Core, MO team.
• Visit the strategic customer complaint premises & ensure a cost-effective indoor solution.
• Perform Cell/eNodeB Level KPI analysis using TABLEAU, iPM-AUTIN, SQL PMDB.
• Perform User level performance analysis & troubleshooting through Smart Care (DNA), Cell Search, KPI Analyzer, Customer Experience Dashboard (CED), Network 360 etc.
• Multivendor and Multicultural Environmental work exposure (Ericsson, ZTE and Huawei).
• Troubleshoot power configuration, SFP mismatches, one way/ Mute/Silent calling, PCI detection and low throughput problems.
• Analyzing Device or UE specific failures and tuning parameters to improve the performance.
• Good understanding of 5G/VoLTE/LTE Optimization Techniques and procedures.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field that provides the required knowledge and abilities and five (5) years of post-degree, progressive experience in any related position that provided the required skills and abilities.

Must also have demonstrable experience and proficiency with the following tools, technologies, and procedures:

• CS & PS
• VoLTE trace, L3 messages.
• iBwave, Planet 7.5, and Assets
• TEMS Pocket/TEMS Discovery
• TABLEAU, iPM-AUTIN, SQL PMDB
• CED, Network 360
• CCH & CCP, 5G/VoLTE/LTE
