Overview
The Regional Banking Sales and Service Coordinator is responsible for onboarding new Regional Banking customers and managing ongoing relationships to ensure quality control and a "Simply the Best" customer experience for a group of bankers with portfolios of customers with $2 million to $50 million in annual sales. Responsibilities are approached with significant emphasis on cross‑sell to identify opportunities and coordinate these efforts for the team.
Responsibilities- Assist bankers in managing their portfolio of customers with $2 million to $50 million in annual sales.
- Coordinate the due diligence and document‑gathering necessary to get new and renewal loans documented and closed.
- Ensure renewals are completed on a timely basis.
- Collect required financial statements from customers on a timely basis.
- Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships to ensure quality control and a "Simply the Best" customer experience.
- Utilize a relationship plan/model for client service and client management.
- Coordinate with bankers and partners to prepare Relationship Plans for each customer.
- Manage NSF/OD items and coordinate resolution with bankers and customers.
- Handle post‑loan requests such as advances, payments, payoff, and research.
- Research and resolve service and operational issues related to deposit and credit accounts.
- Assist customers with onboarding and maintenance of online banking platforms.
- Submit a Regional Banking incident to the Incident team for suspected fraudulent transactions.
- Connect customers to the appropriate teams for recommended bank products.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, systems, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and manage risk and adhere to policy and procedure acknowledgements.
- Participate in identifying issues of concern and keep department management informed as needed.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new SSC colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of an additional 2 years of sales in a financial services or credit environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a financial services or credit environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow‑up.
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
- Capable of multitasking and working independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in PC usage, internet tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Regional Banking sales and product knowledge.
- Consultative selling and profiling experience.
- Proven track record of working well in a team environment.
