Critical Care Paramedic

Mehlville Fire Protection District (MFPD) is growing! MFPD provides Fire, EMS, and Mobile Integrated Health services to the communities we serve. We cover 52 square miles and respond to over 18,000 emergency responses annually. MFPD has an excellent reputation for delivering cutting-edge emergency medical services.

Due to transitioning from 24 to 48-hour shifts, we are adding several Critical Care Paramedics to our team.

• Must possess a current Missouri EMT-P License
• Must possess a current, valid Driver’s License
• Ability to meet the physical demands and perform essential functions of the position, including regular attendance
• Ability to work five 48-hour shifts per month (48/96 schedule)

• CCP-C or FP-C, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS or ITLS, and AMLS. MFPD will pay for CCP-C or FP-C and other certifications
• Two or more years of Paramedic experience

• Starting salary of $69,350 without CCP Certification; increases to $98,976 after 4 years of service
• With CCP-C or FP-C Certification, starting salary is $76,350; increases to $105,976 after 4 years of service
