BJC is hiring a Full-Time Pharmacy Inventory Coordinator for our Home Care Infusion Pharmacy!

This position will assist with pulling supplies needed for a variety of infusion therapies. If you have strong attention to details skills and are eagerto advance your pharmacy career, we would love to hear from you!

MO pharmacy technician license required.

Overview

BJC Home Care offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs.

BJC Home Care provides care to thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country.

The Home Infusion Therapy Department of BJC Home Care Services works closely with physicians, patients and caregivers to enable patients to remain or return home while receiving intravenous medications. Our services include 24 hour on-call pharmacy and nursing services, comprehensive patient education materials, patient assessment and drug administration monitoring, and coordination of professional services including home care nursing and laboratory services.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose

Ensures necessary supplies to provide quality patient care for pharmacy department.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and distributes materials and pharmaceuticals to pharmacy stocking locations.
  • Ensures proper hand-offs occur for all items including perishable goods.
  • Coordinates removal of packaging and trash from pharmacy stocking locations.
  • Provides information on inventory stock outs and variances to assist in eliminating errors in stocking and picking merchandise
Minimum Requirements Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
