Overview

NEXTEP is seeking an SAP Success Factors Product Manager - HRIS
, a mid-to-senior level role responsible for leading the functional oversight and continuous improvement of multiple Success Factors modules. This role acts as a bridge between HR operations, IT teams, and end users—ensuring HR technology solutions align with strategic goals and deliver an exceptional user experience. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Success Factors, HR processes, and a strong ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and system optimization efforts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead functional oversight for assigned Success Factors modules, including process design, system configuration support, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to gather and refine business requirements aligned with system capabilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in system testing, change validation, and the coordination of releases or enhancements
  • Analyze and improve system workflows to streamline HR processes and reduce manual tasks
  • Partner with IT and vendors to support integrations, data flows, and compliance standards
  • Proactively monitor system usage, performance, and data quality; recommend improvements based on trends and feedback
  • Support internal training and change management efforts related to Success Factors functionality
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, test scripts, configuration records, and process maps
  • Generate and refine reports, dashboards, and system insights to support HR strategy and compliance
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Success Factors
  • Applicable certification(s) in one or more Success Factors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals)
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions, systems testing methodologies, and system reporting tools
  • Experience leading cross-functional discussions and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
  • Experience supporting complex organizations (e.g., multi-location, matrixed environments)
  • Familiarity with integration platforms or middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, SAP CPI)
  • Experience managing product roadmaps or continuous improvement cycles in enterprise systems
Position Duties Data Quality & Governance
  • Serve as the primary owner for HRIS data integrity within Success Factors, ensuring consistent, accurate, and compliant data across all modules.
  • Monitor and audit HR data for completeness and accuracy; proactively resolve discrepancies through validation and analysis.
  • Maintain and enforce HR data governance standards, including naming conventions, data definitions, and audit practices.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, process documentation, and governance materials.
Integrations & Systems Management
  • Partner with IT and HRIS teams to design, test, and maintain data interfaces and integrations between Success Factors and other systems (e.g., payroll, finance, identity management).
  • Manage data migration, transformation, and validation activities during system changes, upgrades, or module
  • Support release management processes, including testing and change documentation.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance standard and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards using Success Factors Report Center, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications that align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure reporting consistency across HR systems and provide insights that support workforce analytics and decision making.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data and integrations, supporting HR business partners, managers, and system users.
  • Provide end-user support for data-related inquiries, including troubleshooting of report logic, data mismatches, and integration issues.
  • Partner with HR leadership to identify and implement continuous improvements to HR data processes and tools.
  • Stay informed on Success Factors functionality, data capabilities, and API tools to drive automation and system enhancements.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance HR data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and user experience.
