About Paris Brothers Paris Brothers is a Kansas City–based, family-owned business operating across coffee roasting and packaging, consumer packaged goods distribution, 3PL warehousing, and café/retail environments. Our operations span manufacturing facilities, warehouse environments (including unique underground storage), and customer-facing café locations.
Technology is mission‑critical to our ability to operate safely, efficiently, and are seeking a Director of Information Technology (Infrastructure) to lead the strategy, performance, and security of our core IT infrastructure across all facilities.
Position OverviewThe Director of IT (Infrastructure) is responsible for the strategy, selection, implementation, security, and reliability of Paris Brothers’ enterprise infrastructure. This includes networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints, telecommunications, backup and disaster recovery, and cybersecurity controls. This role does not own business applications (ERP, HRIS, WMS, CRM, POS), but partners closely with application owners and operational leaders to ensure the underlying infrastructure supports manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and café operations.
This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong technical depth, operational awareness, and executive‑level communication skills.
- Develop and execute the IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with operational needs, growth, and risk management.
- Lead the selection, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of networks, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints, and telecommunications systems.
- Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, backup, and disaster recovery across all locations.
- Establish and maintain infrastructure‑level cybersecurity controls, including network security, access controls, patching, monitoring, and incident response.
- Manage infrastructure vendors, managed service providers, ISPs, and cybersecurity partners, including contracts and service levels.
- Oversee infrastructure asset management, standards, documentation, and support processes.
- Partner with business application owners and operations leaders to ensure infrastructure effectively supports manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and café environments.
- Lead and develop internal infrastructure staff and/or external service providers.
- Own the infrastructure IT budget, including capital planning, operating expenses, and ROI‑based technology decisions.
- Support new facility openings, expansions, and major operational changes from an infrastructure perspective.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8 years of progressive IT experience with deep infrastructure focus
- 3 years in senior IT leadership
- Experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments strongly preferred
- PMP certification preferred
Technical Expertise
- Enterprise network architecture and design
- Cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments
- Cybersecurity frameworks and infrastructure security controls
- Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Vendor and managed service provider oversight - Infrastructure lifecycle and asset management

- Budget development, capital planning, and cost‑benefit analysis

- Primarily office‑based with occasional remote flexibility
- Monday–Friday business hours with occasional on‑call or after‑hours support for critical events
- Occasional local travel between facilities
