Job Overview

Primary Duty:
The primary responsibility is to cut, punch and drill parts to print. You'll also set up and maintain equipment, use hand tools and operate a forklift & overhead crane.

Status:
At‑will employee, full‑time, non‑exempt.

Supervision:
Supervision is by the Shop Manager.

Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidates must pass a criminal background check. Candidates must meet the requirements of the full job description throughout the duration of employment with Mari Corp U.S. and must follow all policies outlined in the employee handbook.

• Reads a tape measure.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings.
• Cuts, punches, and drills material precisely.
• Keeps work area clean.
• Lifts heavy objects.
• Operates a forklift and overhead crane.
• Set up, run, and maintain saw, punch press, and drills.
• Able to operate various hand tools.
• Works with Welder Fabricators to determine what parts are needed and when.
• Follow directions.
• Performs other duties, as required by the company.

• Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences for professional development as necessary.
• Attends and/or participates in company training.
• Interacts well with all levels of staff and management.
• Performs related administrative work as required.

Experience working in a production environment is helpful.

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent experience, education, and training may be considered as a diploma substitute.
• Must be forklift certified.
• If operating a motor vehicle while on company business, job incumbents must possess a current Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and maintain proper personal insurance coverage.

• Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to see computer screens and read documents and measurements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have 20/20 vision (with or without correction).
• Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with vendors, customers, and other employees.
• Sitting: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about the production floor.
• Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products and construction materials.
• Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Lifts, pulls, pushes, sorts, and carries supplies and equipment up to 75 lbs or more.
• Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to grasp and use construction equipment and power tools.

Primary work location is a warehouse/production facility. Work is generally performed between 6:00 and 4:30. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately high due to the operation of power tools and other machinery.
