Ozark R-VI School District is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Director of Community Sponsorship, Advertising, and Donations to lead the development and management of partnerships that support district programs, events, and initiatives. This 12-month, exempt position reports to the Superintendent and is responsible for promoting the district’s brand while generating financial and in-kind support through responsible sponsor ships, advertising, and fundraising efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities; and experience working with businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree is required (with preference in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or related fields), though relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of education. Key responsibilities include cultivating community and corporate partnerships, managing district advertising opportunities, overseeing donations and donor recognition, providing leadership for the district’s education foundation, coordinating fundraising initiatives and special events, and ensuring compliance with district policies and ethical standards.

Compensation is based on the Classified Exempt Director II Salary Schedule.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively organize and manage time while balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Strong computer skills are required, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, and Google applications. The position requires an individual who can connect and engage with a wide range of people and communicate clearly while working collaboratively with others. Applicants must successfully pass a background check satisfactory to the Board of Education.

A bachelor’s degree is required, with preference given to degrees in business administration, public relations, marketing, communications, or non-profit management; however, relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
