The Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) role utilizes theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients. The Regional Resource LPN floats between designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities within the East Region.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
• Provide bedside LPN care across multiple specialties, including med/surg, critical care, emergency department, and more.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and patient populations to deliver high‑quality care in dynamic environments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical assessment and communication skills through continuous learning.

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• One year of recent bedside LPN experience in med/surg (two years for other specialties such as ED, ICU, etc.).
• Ability to stand/walk most of the shift, bend, stoop, lift, and turn patients with assistance (pushing/pulling/gripping up to 50 pounds).
• Certifications required to start:
  • Med Surg: BLS
  • Critical Care: BLS, ACLS
  • Emergency Department: BLS, ACLS, & PALS/IV certification

• Epic experience.

• Full time, night shift.
• Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000.
• No contract; base pay determined by experience.
