Travel RN – Emergency Department (Nights)

Saint Louis, Missouri

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (18:00–06:00) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Every Third Weekend Required

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients presenting with trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with facility standards
• Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient Emergency Department experience; trauma experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications required
• Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system

• Work in a high-acuity, 61-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Level 1 STEMI Center with a 1:4 patient ratio
