Park Maintenance Worker– Seasonal Part Time
The City of Overland, Missouri is currently accepting applications for a Seasonal Part-Time Park Maintenance Worker within the Department of Parks and Recreation.
Under the supervision of the Parks Superintendent, the selected candidate will perform routine manual labor and operate small equipment in support of park maintenance operations. Duties may include mowing, trimming, landscaping, general park upkeep, and other related tasks as assigned.
This is a seasonal, part-time position with a preferred start date of June 1, 2026, and concluding no later than October 1, 2026.

QualificationsMinimum qualifications are as follows: U.S. Citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker, possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and must have a valid Missouri driver’s license. Preferred candidates will have at least one (1) to three (3) years of related work experience outdoor maintenance or landscaping.
Special RequirementsThe individual shall possess the ability to load and unload material or equipment, operate a riding mower, operate a push mower and all hand held lawn equipment, dig holes and trenches, and perform maintenance work in landscaping. Assist in grounds cleaning, maintenance, or custodial duties to park buildings and City properties, and any other duties assigned.
