Osage View Restaurant is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to join the leadership team within our upscale sports bar that blends elevated dining with an energetic game-day atmosphere.

• Hire, train, schedule and manage front of house staff to include Hosts, Servers and Bartenders.
• Maximize efficiencies in the restaurant to ensure food is ordered and delivery properly and efficiently to deliver a superior experience to our guests.
• Regularly engage with guests to receive feedback and enhance their experience.
• Oversee reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guests satisfaction.
• Responsible for ordering and receiving beverage deliveries, labeling products and ensuring proper inventory levels to meet the demands of the restaurant.
• Conduct regular inventory counts of all beverages and bar supply items to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory records, tracking usage, and variances.
• Coordinate with the BOH Manager to ensure clear communication regarding menu changes and specials.
• Ensure all areas of the restaurant and bar are kept clean and sanitary and that food and safety standards are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position requires a high school diploma as well as experience and abilities in the following areas:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working the front of house in a full‑service restaurant
• Serv Safe certified or willing to become so upon hire
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates and other employees
• Ability to identify problems and determine the best course of action for their resolution
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other co-workers to reach a common goal
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to think and act quickly in the event of an emergency
• Exceptional organizational skills
• A proven track record of punctuality and dependability
• Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy when resolving problems
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, letters, procedures, financial statements
