Job Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties
    • Greet visitors to the office and assist them with requests and questions
    • Assist with all clerical duties, including answering the telephone, transferring calls, scanning and filing documents, sorting mail, message taking, data input, copying, filing, etc.
    • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for Community Standards staff
    • Organize and maintain confidential student records and files
    • Assist with large departmental projects and programs throughout the year
    • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Event and Program Support
    • Plan 1-2 events per semester and coordinate educational programs and workshops related to community standards and student conduct
    • Assist with logistics for events, including reserving spaces, setting up materials, and promoting events to the campus community
    • Participate in outreach efforts to educate students about university policies and community standards
  • Research and Special Projects
    • Conduct research on Community Standards and successful educational events
    • Assist with developing and implementing new initiatives and projects aimed at improving the student conduct process
    • Assist in the collection and analysis of data for reports and presentations
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a full-time enrolled student in an Undergraduate, Graduate, or English Language Learning program at SNHU
  • Must be in good conduct standing at the time of hire and throughout employment (students with a previous conduct history will be considered on an individual basis)
  • Must be comfortable answering telephones, directing phone calls, and taking messages
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Must work flexibly, creatively, and responsibly with a variety of constituents
  • Must have working knowledge of concepts related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Must be work‑study eligible
Compensation

Hourly pay range: $13.00–$15.00 (actual offer based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity)

Work Schedule

10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
