Benefits Administrative Assistant – Manchester, NH
The Cross Family of Agencies welcomes you. We need your talent and expertise and are seeking a qualified individual to support our dedicated team in a variety of administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with TPA renewals and compliance document review and creation.
- Update and maintain the database using our Salesforce client‑management system.
- Generate RFPs and manage requests for proposals.
- Create and distribute open enrollment materials.
- Service claim issues, working closely with carriers and the dedicated account manager for resolution.
- Accomplish additional administrative tasks as workload dictates.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Outstanding problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- In‑depth knowledge or understanding of employee benefits plans and their functionality (Medical, Dental, Life, Disability, Cafeteria Plans, HSA, etc.).
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in an employee benefits setting.
Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $25–$27 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity.
