The opportunity Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Office Assistant for our partner organization, Make-A-Wish in Manchester, NH. The Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Office Assistant supports the mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses through a variety of communications, administrative, event, and program support activities. This role works closely with staff to assist with wish logistics, volunteer engagement, community outreach, fundraising events, donor stewardship, and office operations.
Job Responsibilities- ssist with volunteer recruitment, outreach, and recognition activities.
- Support wish coordination efforts by helping prepare materials and tracking logistics.
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records in donor and volunteer databases.
- Assist with social media content creation and community engagement initiatives.
- Help prepare donor thank-you letters and stewardship communications.
- Provide support for fundraising events, including event registration, set-up, and follow-up activities.
- Research community organizations, businesses, and potential partners to support outreach efforts.
- Answer phones, monitor shared email inboxes, and respond to general inquiries as appropriate.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of office and event supplies.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package

Work Schedule Flexible (Open to discussion):
Mon-Thursday within 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM

CompensationThe hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
