Job Description

As a M&A Post Merger Integration Manager in Crowe's Technology Advisory practice, you'll lead complex integration efforts across the merger and acquisition lifecycle. You'll work closely with private equity firms and strategic buyers to translate deal objectives into executable plans, drive cross-functional delivery, realize synergies, and stabilize operations after close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead post-merger integration engagements across pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, the first 100 days, synergy realization, and post-close stabilization.
  • Direct Integration Management Office (IMO) activities and cross-functional work streams for complex, multi-functional, and cross-border transactions.
  • Develop integration roadmaps, governance structures, workplans, milestones, dependencies, and decision-making processes with client leadership.
  • Drive risk identification and mitigation, resolve execution barriers, and maintain accountability for critical integration priorities.
  • Support operational analysis and integration-focused due diligence to identify risks, quantify value-creation opportunities, and translate findings into actionable post-close priorities.
  • Support technology integration planning and execution across ERP and business applications, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendors, and the IT operating model.
  • Prepare and present executive-facing dashboards, status reports, synergy tracking, recommendations, and steering committee materials.
  • Manage engagement scope, timelines, budgets, and quality while coaching and developing consultants and coordinating client, target-company, and third-party teams.
  • Support proposal development, and practice-building activities, including the continued development of tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of professional industry or consulting experience required, including experience leading complex work streams or projects.
  • Experience with ERP implementations or other technology integrations in an M&A, carve-out, transformation, or similar environment required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing cross-functional integration plans; experience with private equity clients or strategic buyers is preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial services environments is a plus.
  • Strong project management, business process analysis, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives, facilitate decisions, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead teams, work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on client location and needs.
