Join our team this summer! We are looking for highly motivated people who have experience working with children to work with our school age summer program at the Manchester YMCA. Our program focuses on STEAM, Sports and other fun activities throughout the day as well as weekly field trips to state parks and other off site locations. If you love working with 1-5th graders then this would be the perfect opportunity for you!

Our program runs Monday-Friday, with hours between 7am-5:30pm.

This is a summer work opportunity with the possibility of continued work during the school year in our before and after school program.

Qualifications:

At least one of the following, and be at least 17 years old -

• Experience working with children (1-5th grade), totaling 600 hours or more
• Documentation of at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university;
• Documentation that she or he is a certified coach;
• Documentation of 5 years of parenting experience; or
• Documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a group leader in a school-age program on or before the adoption of these rules in 2022.
