Cost Manager

The Cost Management team in Manchester is growing and we are seeking Cost Managers to work on industry‑leading infrastructure projects.

As a Cost Manager you will work with high‑profile clients, develop consultancy skills and diversify sector experience while supporting career progression.

• Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
• Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budget.
• Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring applications are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
• Manage contract change effectively, ensuring projects remain within governance and adopt best practice.
• Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.

• Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Ideally hold or be working towards an appropriate professional body membership or equivalent.
• Experience with Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred).

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.
