Senior Preconstruction Manager

We are hiring a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join a leading construction management firm serving the New England and Northeast regions for over 70 years. This role will lead pre-construction activities, manage estimating teams and support project execution from concept through bid. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conceptual estimating, subcontractor management and construction planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and mentor preconstruction and estimating teams.
• Manage estimates, scopes, qualifications and project budgets.
• Develop pre-construction plans and support project teams.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and market analysis.
• Support value engineering, cost analysis and buyout activities.
• Partner with project executives, estimators and field teams.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of construction management/pre-construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and estimating processes.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and On-Screen Takeoff.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
