Wiemann Lamphere Architects is seeking a seasoned Senior-Architect / Project Manager to help lead and grow our Manchester, New Hampshire office. This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the future of an established architectural practice while working closely with firm leadership on design excellence, client relationships, and long-term strategic growth.
This position is ideal for an architect with 8-10+ years
of experience in architectural design and project management who is motivated by attention to detail, leadership, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact. An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in contributing to firm growth, mentorship, and business development are highly valued.
Founded in 1971, Wiemann Lamphere is a collaborative architectural and interior design firm known for strong client partnerships, thoughtful design, and technical rigor. We are a small firm of seventeen individuals with two offices and a diverse portfolio of commercial, municipal, hospitality, and multi-family residential projects. - Lead project teams through all phases of design and delivery
- Manage client relationships, consultant teams, and project execution
- Collaborate directly with firm partners on design direction and office growth
- Contribute to business development and strategic initiatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect (New Hampshire preferred)
- Strong design skills, technical detail and BIM expertise, and experience producing highly coordinated construction documents
- Experience across a broad range of project sectors incl. municipal, commercial, residential, hospitality (Higher Education, Mass Timber and Modular experience a plus)
- Interest in proactive outreach, relationship-building, and future partnership
- Willingness to travel for project requirements including business development efforts
