Physician & AP — Referral Eligible

EHS employed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and credentialed behavioral health specialists are eligible for a $5,000.00 referral bonus if they refer a physician that becomes employed by EHS.

All employed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and credentialed behavioral health specialists are eligible for the program. The EHS physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, and/or credentialed behavioral health specialist employee must be employed at the time of referral and remain employed at the time of the candidate’s hire and subsequent bonus payment date.

• Referrals from physicians for members of their immediate family
• Physician Board Members or Physician Officers of the EHS Board
• Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and credentialed behavioral health specialists who are either temporary, contract, or on a locum assignment

• All current physician openings are eligible for a referral bonus, except per diem physician positions.

• If a duplicate referral occurs, ‘credit’ will be given to the referral source that made the referral first.
• The Medical Staff Recruitment team reserves the right on a case-by-case basis to review duplicate referrals and determine outcome.

• Employed physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and credentialed behavioral health specialists referring a physician candidate must notify the Director of Medical Staff Recruitment in writing of the referral prior to the recruitment department having knowledge of the candidate.
• The EHS referral source will be notified by Medical Staff Recruitment upon successful hire of new employee.
• The Referral Bonus will be paid within 30 days after the newly hired physician completes their first 6 months of employment.
• All monies as a result of this program will be considered income and taxed in accordance with IRS regulations.

EHS reserves the right to discontinue this program at any time with and without notice.
