Assumes responsibility for the entire program which includes:

• Coaching and supervising the program.
• Implements district athletic department policies.
• Works with the MSD Athletic Director and Principal.
• Communicating school game schedule.
• Communication of travel for out-of-town trips.
• Verification of student physical examination/Family  of the high school.
• Remains with students and supervises them while traveling to away competitions.
• Cares for athletes and injured athletes.
• Cares for, maintains and oversees the storage of all equipment and uniforms.
• Maintains a positive staff relationship with other coaches.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the MSD Athletic Director and Principal.
• Communicate with parents to inform them about the program as well as your expectations of them and the players.
• Leads by example.
• Apply and enforce student discipline during athletic contests, practice sessions, and while on trips off school property in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
