Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Requirements as set by the State of New Hampshire Certification Authorities and Board of School Committee regulations.
- State of NH Teacher Certification in Special Education (1900) or other approved certification status may be considered.
Primary Responsibilities of the Position:
- Create a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment.
- Establish and enforce rules, procedures, and expectations for behavior.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Teach core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations.
- Track and report student progress to parents and school administrators.
- Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted support.
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to enhance student learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Foster social-emotional growth and encourage a love of learning.
- Identify and address individual student needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans, and multilingual learners.
Salary:
Per Diem rate based off MEA teacher's contract for experience & degree, must be NHDOE certified.
$16.43/hr until per diem rate is applied.
