Admission Counselor

Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a full-time, year-round Admission Counselor to join the College's Admission office. Reporting to the Associate Director of Admission, the Admission Counselor will be responsible for:

  • Representing Saint Anselm College to a wide and diverse audience in high schools and at college fair programs
  • Plan, manage, and execute recruitment travel which includes about 8-10 weeks in the fall and 4-5 weeks in the spring
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with secondary school counselors
  • Correspond with prospective students and their families daily
  • Conduct on-campus and off-campus information sessions
  • Participate fully in the evaluation of applications and selection of the incoming class
  • Contribute to the College's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of Admission

Bachelor's degree is required and one to two years of relevant experience working in college admission is preferred. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of and appreciation for the strengths of an undergraduate liberal arts education in the Catholic tradition; self-motivated and independent critical thinker and worker; problem-solving capabilities; solid work ethic; strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent public speaking skills;

possess a valid driver's license. The ability to travel and work nights and weekends is required.
