The opportunity The SNHU Admissions Office is seeking strong student leaders for the Penmen Tour Guide position.

• Conduct Campus Tours:
  Lead groups of prospective students, families, and other visitors on tours of the campus. Provide detailed and accurate information about campus facilities, academic programs, student services, and campus life. Tailor tours to the interests and needs of different groups.
• Engage and Inform Visitors:
  Share personal experiences and insights about being a student wer questions from visitors in a knowledgeable and friendly manner. Highlight unique aspects and strengths of SNHU.
• Represent the University:
  Serve as an ambassador for SNHU, embodying its values and mission. Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times. Promote a positive image of SNHU to all visitors.
• Assist with Events:
  Assist Admission Counselors in prepping and working special events such as Open Houses, Accepted Student Days, and more.
• Stay Informed:
  Keep up-to-date with the latest information about university programs, policies, and events. Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance tour guiding skills and knowledge.
• Administrative Duties:
  Assist with administrative tasks related to office projects and event preparation.

• Current Student Status:
  Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at the university.

• Enthusiasm:
  Passionate about the university and eager to share that enthusiasm with others.

• Students with Federal Work Study are preferred.
• Prior experience in a customer service or public-facing role.
• Involvement in campus activities, organizations, or leadership roles.

This position involves significant walking and outdoor activity in various weather conditions. Tours may require standing and speaking for extended periods. Average weekly hours range from 5-12 hours / week

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
