Allied Travel Careers  is working with Credence Consulting LLC to find a qualified Sped Teacher in Marlborough, New Hampshire, 03455!

1:1 Preschool Paraprofessional – Part-Time

Location: Marlborough, NH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–11:45 AM
Hours: 20 hours/week
Start: ASAP
Assignment: Through June 16 or until the district hires a permanent paraprofessional

About the Position

We are seeking a 1:1 Preschool Paraprofessional to provide individualized support to a preschool student with autism at Marlborough School in Marlborough, New Hampshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working with young children. The paraprofessional will work closely with the classroom teacher and school support team to help the student participate successfully in classroom activities and routines.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a preschool student with autism.

  • Assist with classroom activities, transitions, routines, and daily learning.

  • Support communication, social skills, independence, and positive behavior.

  • Follow individualized strategies and interventions provided by the school team.

  • Use positive reinforcement and appropriate prompting/redirection.

  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.

  • Communicate observations and student progress with teachers and school staff.

  • Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with children with autism.

  • Experience with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis).

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, behavioral aide, or in a special education setting.

  • Preschool experience.
