Work-LifeBalance & Hybrid Schedule
Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance.

Eversource is seeking a skilled Energy Efficiency Consultant to support Channel Strategy efforts in New Hampshire. In this role, you will collaborate with manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, and distribution partners to promote and manage energy efficiency programs across the supply chain. You will help accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies, strengthen engagement with market partners, and contribute to long‑term strategies that drive customer energy savings.
As a member of the Channel Team, you will market energy efficiency offerings to business partners and support eligible customers in implementing effective, energy‑saving solutions. The team leads the design, implementation, and oversight of both new and existing programs throughout the full Eversource territory, including tracking financial performance and operational outcomes. You will also support the development and execution of RFPs and assist with the selection and management of vendors responsible for delivering these programs.
The team’s mission is to support the channel and the broader supply chain by identifying new and emerging technologies suitable for energy efficiency programs, developing long‑term strategies to increase energy savings, and improving market engagement between Eversource customers and channel partners.
The Channel Team maintains key relationships with manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, and retail and distribution partners across the territory. The role requires ongoing collaboration with internal groups—including implementation, engineering, evaluation, marketing, and business intelligence—to ensure coordinated, effective program delivery.
Essential Functions- Provides direction to business partners, such as contracted vendors, and/or technical project expertise to customers and coordinates available resources specific to the procurement and installation of energy efficient measures, strategies, and systems.
- Drives the integration of strategic activities between the customer, program administrators, advisory consultants and vendor/contractors.
- Coordinates the development of documents and plans necessary to meet compliance with regulatory filings and oversight of rate‑payer funded Energy Efficiency programs.
- Provides guidance and support to Associate Energy Efficiency Consultants.
- Educates and trains internal and external market actors on energy efficiency program strategies, processes, and techniques.
- Executes the budgeting, invoicing, evaluation, and tracking of expenses and energy savings of assigned offerings.
- Leads or contributes to the development of RFPs for contracted services.
- Demonstrates proactive thought leadership within vertical sector through developing and designing technology implementation strategies and initiatives.
- Represents Eversource in national energy efficiency conferences and/or stakeholder events (e.g. ACEEE, ASHRAE, ACI, and CEE).
