Remediation Engineer
Salary: GBP
35000 - GBP
45000 per annum
We are seeking a motivated Remediation Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Remediation Engineer who enjoys a mix of site-based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across Manchester. As a Remediation Engineer, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions.
Based in Manchester, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.
- Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring
- Assist with the design and implementation of remediation strategies
- Support earthworks and materials management activities
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators
- Degree in Remediation Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
- Experience in remediation or contaminated land (desirable)
- Live within a commutable distance of their Manchester office
- Full UK driving licence
