HVDC Switchyard Commissioning Engineer

• You will actively advance the Energy Transition by bringing our HVDC projects to a successful completion with our customers
• As part of a project team, you will carry out hardware and software tests including customer acceptance in one of our test centers and at our customers sites worldwide
• You are responsible for the configuration, testing and commissioning of switchyard control in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems
• You support Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk and Claim Management as well as improvement programs

• Completed a degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable education / qualification, or Certified Technician
• Very good knowledge with working experience in commissioning of bay control units, ideally SIPROTEC 5 series with DIGSI 5, including the associated high-voltage components in the switchyard
• Solid understanding of high-voltage and substation technology as well as testing of interlocking logic schemes and automatic control sequences
• Willingness for worldwide business trips and mainly long-term assignments on construction sites in UK, Ireland and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms
• Team player, communicative, proactive, positive handling of conflicts, decision-making capability
