Field Technician III

Verdantas is seeking a Field Technician for Manchester, New Hampshire. The role involves working on complex engineering projects in the environmental consulting and sustainable engineering sectors, with a focus on water resources, resilient land use, energy transformation, and civil infrastructure.

• Assist in the design and review of complex engineering projects.
• Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures.
• Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and engineers.
• Conduct project meetings and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Oversee the construction and installation of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of project details, including as-built drawings and inspection reports.
• Provide expert technical support and recommendations to engineers and project managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to engineering projects.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Associate’s Degree and/or trade school preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Environmental field experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, public works, or a skilled trade such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, construction, or similar fields preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Experience driving large trucks/vans, operating heavy equipment, and towing trailers is desirable.
• Ability to regularly carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work primarily outdoors with occasional office work.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

$30.00 - $35.00 / hour
