Site​/Civil Project Manager

• Lead the design, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors
• Manage engineering design tasks for civil/site development projects from conceptual design through construction documentation
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and establish project schedules
• Lead preparation of site/civil construction documents, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management systems, and erosion control plans
• Develop technical specifications, cost opinions, and project reports
• Serve as primary contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance, resolve design conflicts, and address project requirements
• Manage preparation and submission of environmental permitting documents
• Oversee land use permit applications, stormwater management plans, and environmental impact assessments
• Manage and mentor project staff and junior engineers
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other engineering software
• Conduct quality control reviews of project deliverables
• Integrate LEED and ENV SP sustainable design principles where applicable
• Analyze project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and make decisions regarding costs, technical feasibility, and schedules

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning
• 10-13 years of experience in civil/site design, land use planning, or project management
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or AICP certification
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (2014 or later), and HydroCAD (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal environmental permitting processes and land use regulations
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary project teams, with a focus on site/civil and environmental projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High level of creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
• LEED or ENV SP certification or experience in sustainable design practices (preferred)
• Experience in stormwater management, hydrologic modeling, and erosion control design (preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of construction cost estimating and project budgeting (preferred)
• Strong background in project bidding, proposal preparation, and client presentations (preferred)
• Experience preparing technical proposals and project bids for public and private sector projects (preferred)
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning (preferred)
