A New Hampshire nonprofit is looking for a senior finance leader to own the numbers and help steer the organization. Hands on role reporting to the Executive Director, with a small team and a seat at the leadership table.
Responsibilities:
- Run the full accounting operation, including payroll, general ledger, cost allocations, and the monthly close
- Lead the annual budget, reporting, and forecasting for leadership and the Board
- Manage local, federal, and foundation grants, from compliance to reporting
- Own fiscal policy, internal controls, the annual Single Audit, and the Form 990
- Supervise and develop the accounting and grants staff
- Support HR, benefits, and contracts as a small organization requires
Qualifications:
- Accounting or finance degree with federal grants experience
- Strong on federal cost principles, cost allocation, GAAP, and grant reporting
- Nonprofit background a plus
- A steady leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves
Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
