We have a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lender with knowledge of the Southern New Hampshire market, including Concord, Manchester, and the Seacoast.
Our client is a well-established regional community bank seeking a Commercial Lender to join its commercial banking team. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused lender who understands local businesses and centers of influence and has the ability to identify, structure, and execute commercial transactions. While a strong C&I background is preferred, experienced generalist lenders with C&I lending experience will also be considered.
If you’re a Commercial Lender with strong credit acumen, a history of developing new relationships, and the ability to independently structure and negotiate commercial transactions, our client would be interested in talking with you.
What You'll Be Doing- Develop and manage commercial banking relationships throughout Southern New Hampshire, including the Concord, Manchester, and Seacoast markets.
- Generate new commercial lending opportunities through an established network of clients, prospects, and centers of influence.
- Manage the relationship lifecycle from initial customer discussions through loan closing and ongoing portfolio management.
- Structure, price, negotiate, and close commercial loan transactions while maintaining strong credit discipline.
- Manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio while providing exceptional service to business customers.
- Focus primarily on C&I lending while also having the ability to evaluate and structure commercial real estate transactions.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by connecting customers with additional banking solutions, including treasury management and other areas of the bank.
- Partner with internal credit professionals and support teams to ensure efficient loan execution.
- Represent the bank in the marketplace and develop long-term relationships with business owners and referral partners.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lender with a strong C&I lending background.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and generate commercial lending opportunities.
- Strong credit skills with the ability to independently analyze, structure, and negotiate commercial transactions.
- Established relationships with businesses, professionals, and centers of influence throughout Southern New Hampshire.
- Ability to balance business development with sound credit judgment.
- Community banking experience preferred, but candidates from larger financial institutions will be considered.

A competitive compensation package will be offered based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. With that said, as required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes a reasonable estimate of the salary range to be $140,000-$175,000 annually. This person may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and bank performance.
