About

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lender with knowledge of the Southern New Hampshire market, including Concord, Manchester, and the Seacoast.

Our client is a well-established regional community bank seeking a Commercial Lender to join its commercial banking team. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused lender who understands local businesses and centers of influence and has the ability to identify, structure, and execute commercial transactions. While a strong C&I background is preferred, experienced generalist lenders with C&I lending experience will also be considered.

If you’re a Commercial Lender with strong credit acumen, a history of developing new relationships, and the ability to independently structure and negotiate commercial transactions, our client would be interested in talking with you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and manage commercial banking relationships throughout Southern New Hampshire, including the Concord, Manchester, and Seacoast markets.
  • Generate new commercial lending opportunities through an established network of clients, prospects, and centers of influence.
  • Manage the relationship lifecycle from initial customer discussions through loan closing and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Structure, price, negotiate, and close commercial loan transactions while maintaining strong credit discipline.
  • Manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio while providing exceptional service to business customers.
  • Focus primarily on C&I lending while also having the ability to evaluate and structure commercial real estate transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by connecting customers with additional banking solutions, including treasury management and other areas of the bank.
  • Partner with internal credit professionals and support teams to ensure efficient loan execution.
  • Represent the bank in the marketplace and develop long-term relationships with business owners and referral partners.
What They're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lender with a strong C&I lending background.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and generate commercial lending opportunities.
  • Strong credit skills with the ability to independently analyze, structure, and negotiate commercial transactions.
  • Established relationships with businesses, professionals, and centers of influence throughout Southern New Hampshire.
  • Ability to balance business development with sound credit judgment.
  • Community banking experience preferred, but candidates from larger financial institutions will be considered.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
  • Opportunity to join a financially strong, independent community bank with a long-term focus.
  • An organization that minimizes bureaucracy and red tape, giving lenders direct access to key decision-makers and the ability to efficiently execute opportunities.
  • Opportunity to grow your market presence in an established territory with room to develop new relationships.
  • Role designed for a true commercial lender — someone who can build relationships while independently managing complex transactions.
  • Leadership team values both production and responsible lending practices.
  • Competitive compensation package with incentive opportunities tied to performance.
  • Opportunity to be part of an organization where strong performance directly contributes to the success of the bank.
Compensation & Benefits

A competitive compensation package will be offered based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit. With that said, as required by local law, Highland Consulting Group believes a reasonable estimate of the salary range to be $140,000-$175,000 annually. This person may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and bank performance.

In addition to compensation, the bank offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, retirement benefits, and paid time off.

Highland Consulting Group will never share your resume or information without your explicit consent.
