Woodfords Family Services is excited to welcome a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to our growing Early Childhood Services (ECS) and Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) programs. This full-time, center-based role will begin at our school in Waterville, Maine and transition mid-year to our newly constructed campus in Manchester, opening in Summer, 2026!

The BCBA position offers consistent school-day hours, a supportive team environment, and the exciting opportunity to help shape critical programming within our expanding services throughout Central Maine. Candidates accruing BCBA supervision hours are strongly encouraged to apply!

Position Summary

As a BCBA at Woodfords, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young learners during their most formative years. Your clinical expertise will support meaningful, structured learning environments while strengthening student engagement and empowering staff and caregivers.

The BCBA provides clinical leadership and consultation for young learners served within our Preschool and K–5 programs
.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting evaluations, assessments, and behavioral observations
  • Collecting and analyzing data to inform individualized plans and programming
  • Developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans
  • Training and collaborating with classroom staff and caregivers
  • Supporting curriculum development across ECS and SPPS programs
  • Providing on-site supervision and coaching to classroom Educational Technicians to ensure intervention integrity and consistency

This is a highly relational role that values presence, collaboration, and shared commitment to inclusive care and behavior management.

Opportunity Details

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, Onsite
  • $75,000 per year minimum starting salary
  • $2,500 Sign-on Bonus + Relocation assistance available to eligible candidates!

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Human Development or a related field.
  • Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis or ability to obtain required.
  • Experience developing, implementing and monitoring behavior analytic programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience working in a variety of settings with individuals with severe interfering behaviors
  • Valid driver's license and reliable use of a safe, insured motor vehicle.
