We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.

As a PT, you will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. Key tasks include:

• Supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within facility guidelines
• Comply with state board rules and regulations
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel and physicians for team-focused care
• Utilize adaptive equipment and medical center computer systems
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes
• Document care timely and accurately per state/insurance guidelines

• Minimum 6 months experience (new grads encouraged)
• BLS certification
• State-specific PT license
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Job

Pay package based on 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
