About the Position

Job Description:

A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced and NRP-certified RN for a Mother-Baby / Postpartum unit. The nurse must be skilled in independently receiving newborns at delivery (≥35 weeks), performing initial resuscitation steps, assigning APGAR scores, and managing couplet care with 3–4 couplets. This role includes support in antepartum, GYN surgical care, and floating to NICU, pediatrics, or L&D. Epic EMR experience is required.

Requirements
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year  of recent postpartum or mother-baby RN experience

NRP & BLS certifications  (AHA only)

Must be  competent in baby-catching  and initiating neonatal resuscitation

Experience with  couplet care (3–4 couplet ratio)

Able to float to  NICU, pediatrics , or  L&D (fully trained)

Familiar with  NST (non-stress tests)  and antepartum care

Must have  Epic EMR  experience

Every other weekend  required

No prior employment  at any related health system

Travelers within 50 miles  will receive a reduced rate
