Dismas Home of New Hampshire is a 501(c)(3) residential treatment and reentry program that provides justice-involved women, including women veterans, with substance use disorders a safe, home-like environment to heal, recover, and rebuild their lives. As New Hampshire’s only two-phase recovery and transition home dedicated exclusively to this population, Dismas Homecombinesevidence-based clinical treatment, trauma-informed care, and robust life-skills andworkforcepreparation so that residents can regain stability, secure employment and housing, and successfully reintegrate into their communities.

Position

Description:

As anMLADC /LADC, you willassistthe Clinical Director withdeveloping and implementing individualized treatment plans according to ASAM dimensions,providingsupportto CRSW/RSW’sandmaintainingcompliance with state contract licensure requirements.

Yourexpertiseand compassionatetrauma-informed approach will provide crucial support to thoseworkingtowards regainingcontrol over their lives. This positionrelies onnot only a deep understanding of addiction and effectiveclinicaltechniques but also a genuine dedication to fostering each client's personal growth and well-being.

Primary Responsibilities include the following:
  • Provide clinical support and direction to staffincluding CRSW’s and RSW’sasdeterminedby the Clinical Director.
  • Provide individual and group counseling for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health clients in a 3.1 residential and Transitional Living Program (TLP) as directed by supervisor.
  • Conduct assessments to diagnose substance use disorders and evaluate clients' program eligibility.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) dimensionsand

    SMART treatment goals.
  • Complete all required documentation following state and federal guidelines.
  • Participate in training and staff development activities.
  • Provide relapse prevention counseling and skills development interventions in accordance withindividualized treatment and recovery plans.
  • Assist the Clinical Director in providing a recovery environment that includes maximum growth, compassion, a trauma-informed approach, and independence skill building for residents.
  • Conduct and/or direct random drug testing, room checks, room searches, and other resident procedures for completion and compliance.
  • Attend Dismas Home of New Hampshire onsite State and BDAS audits, and work with the Clinical Director to follow up with a plan of correction as needed within thetimeframemandated.
  • Educateclients aboutaddiction, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatmentplansas necessary.
  • Conduct crisis intervention when needed.li>

    Confidentiality, 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA policies
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems (such asAZZLY).
  • Strong understanding of addictionand co-occurring mental health disorders,recovery processes, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Experience implementing

    SMART treatment goals.
  • Strong understanding ofthe

    American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) dimensions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability tomaintainprofessional and ethical standards.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in addiction treatment.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, orrelatedfield.
  • Master’s degreein counseling or related fielda plus.
  • NHState licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
  • NH State licensure asa Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC) a plus.
  • 5+years of experience in addiction counseling.
  • Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.
  • Certified toprovide

    CRSW/RSW staff supervisionisa plus.
Compensation:

$85,000 - $90,000 per year based on relevant skills and prior experience. Benefits include Medical, Employer Funded Health/Education Reimbursement Plan, Paid Time Off, 9 Paid Holidays, Advancement Opportunities
