Travel MRI Technologist

Job Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Manchester, New Hampshire. The position requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts, and travel assignment status.

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensure images are accurate for medical interpretation.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing MRI imaging.

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients for scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with regulations.
• Assist radiologist with procedure performance.
• Start IVs and administer contrast media as directed and per protocol.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label appropriately.
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Must hold ARRT (MR), ARMRIT (MRI), or equivalent national certification and BLS certification. State‑specific licensing required when applicable.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
