Responsibilities
  • Monitor and address work order statuses as assigned.
  • Prioritize and respond to these issues in a timely manner.
  • Complete projects as they are assigned including work in remodeling, light carpentry, general repairs, painting, tile work, lighting, refrigeration, etc.
  • Be aware of and ensure compliance with city, state and/or federal code.
  • Prep areas and apply interior paint, sanding, wallpaper application/repair as well as basic furniture and equipment repair.
  • Ensure guest rooms, restaurant, and public areas are maintained to company standard.
  • Communicate shift details to Manager and Front Office/Housekeeping based on work order completion and progress. Maintain continuous communication with Front Office during all shifts to ensure all complaints are addressed.
  • Have a thorough understanding of fire alarm procedures, emergency evacuation procedures and all safety related issues.
  • Maintain safe and clear exterior walking areas including landscaping, waste removal, and snow/ice management.
  • Ensure facilities buildings, work spaces, and company vehicles are clean, safe, and organized.
  • Use safe work practices daily. Report any unsafe areas to Director of Engineering.
  • Work effectively with other maintenance personnel in a positive, professional manner. Work with professionalism and high standards of guest services and quality of work.
  • Assist Maintenance Manager with additional assigned tasks and projects.

Compensation

This is an hourly position with the opportunity for part time or full‑time hours and a potential wage range of $17.00 - $22.00 per hour. Final compensation package offer is subject to change based on a variety of complex factors unique to each candidate including experience, education, skill set, and applicable certifications.
